bad esn fix?

I'm wondering if a 4g Verizon (galaxy s3) phone that has a bad esn work of you just put a 4g SIM card that works in it? or is there a way to UN black list it?

There is a reason if the ESN is blacklisted. Is it a lost or stolen phone? A SIM change will not work

The guy in the VID said VZ would not add the phone to his account. He never tried to make a call. IMO it's a stolen phone.

It could also be black listed because of inability to pay an outstanding bill to the carrier..
