    Exclamation FoxFi on T-Mobile S3?

I currently have an S3 on Verizon, which I love, but I will have to be changing carriers in the near future, and liked the fact that T-Mobile still has an Unlimited Data plan. Currently I occasionally use FoxFi/PDANet+ as a mobile hotspot when no other wifi is available, but on the junefabrics.com website, it shows that the S3 on T-Mobile is not supported. Can anyone confirm that, and if so, does the app run on possibly an S4? Also, somewhat related, I was looking to possibly get a phone off ebay, and notice both a SGH-T999 (with HSPA+) and SGH-T999L (with LTE). Which one should I get, and why?

Welcome to the forum! Unfortunately T-mobile uses GSM, your Verizon S3 is CDMA, so no it won't work on that particular carrier.

    from the Playstore

*If you have T-mobile, you should use USB mode with "Hide Tether Usage" enabled.

That's why I asked about the SGH-T999 vs the SGH-T999L, those are the T-Mobile versions of the S3. I know my current one won't work on T-Mobile

Unfortunately, I'm looking for WiFi hotspot usage for my Tablet (a Nexus 7), so USB usage doesn't help.. Is there a good WiFi Hotspot app to use under T-Mobile?

Honestly, IMO your decision as to which model to go with should depend which carrier has the best coverage in your area. If you have a crappy 4G data connection, that's going to transfer over to whatever tether app you use. it's the same phone whichever model you get. Base your decision of which carrier has the best coverage in your area.

Edit: search the Play Store & the Amazon App Store for "wifi tether" then read the app descriptions. There are a bunch of them out there that are compatible with every device.
