That's a good question. I would imagine if you REALLY wanted to shut things down, and go to one of those 2 gigs a month plans, you could really save a bundle. Plus the phone costs. Trick is, discipline. I don't know if I would have it lol.

Interesting read. I actually shut down & deleted my Twitter account yesterday and as soon as I finish deleting the rest of my photos and videos today Facebook is gone. I really only joined both services to help my business, but it did absolutly nothing for me so I don't really need them. After watching Zuckerburg lie over and over to Congress about misusing peoples information I felt now was as good a time as any.

Good call. Pretty slimy. I really want to, though I keep FB to keep in touch with my old buddy's and to keep track of some local events. I never really post there lol. Actually, this and a couple other forums are the only social media I post on.

The Facebook algorithm change killed the reach for Facebook Pages. It's all "pay to play" which really isn't that easy for us smaller content creators. To be honest, I've been getting a little burned out on Facebook and spend less time there than I have in the past.

Yeah, it was nice to reconnect with old friends and family members, but as I mentioned in last FB post, if you want to get in touch with me moving forward here's my email address. My privacy is more important than some slimy sob that uses everyones information to help the government build up there AI databases. I watched a pretty sobering documentary on YouTube the other day, and while I knew a lot of this stuff was going on, when you see it laid out the way they showed it, it's more important than ever that we keep our information as private as possible.

I may end up following suit. May look into Instagram or something. Did you see any other areas of concern? I have always been a little leery of Google.

Not sure if you knew this but Instagram is owned by Facebook. A very security-minded blogger/podcaster I follow has always said that the difference with Google is that they spell out what info they get and how they use it in their terms of service and have so far followed and not abused it. I always wish Google+ would've become more mainstream.

Just don't shut down this S3 site. It is one of my few minutes of internet social interaction almost every morning. Grin
I'll be checking in even when all of you have moved on to your S-23 or more.

Well guys dont forget the mother site over at droidforums. There's more action over there and some really good folks. Easy way to stay in touch as that site is busier.

With the end of the season comes countless hours of longing to be back in the woods with bow in hand and the chase in your heart.
