What do you guys think of the new Touchwiz with Android 4.0 on the Galaxy S III?

Is that the Galaxy Note Ollie...I take it that there was a leak of ICS for it - was it easy to root / flash?

Yes, the rom is based off of a leak. It is very stable! Rooting the AT&T Note was super easy. You drop a pre-rooted kernel on it via Odin and you are done. I have a few tutorials posted at our sister forum.

We are supposed to be getting another leak soon. Sorry Astrix, it looks like the international crowd has to wait this time

I actually like the touchwiz theme and that it's the same being consistent with my tab 2 7.0. It reminds me of the old mattedblues theme for cm which I liked. Granted the menus I'm sure are tweaked compared to pure aosp but compared to blur on my old droid x i love the Sammie skin.

And the calendar!!! I know opinions vary but it's imo awesome! Task syncing too? If so how cool! That eliminates 3-4 different apps.

The launcher could use some love but it's not terrible. I do notice a good bit of launcher refreshes though which is troubling.

All in all I like TW on the SGS3 and Tab 2.

There’s no denying the Galaxy S III is an awesome phone. One of the things that impressed us during our hands on was the user interface. Samsung’s new TouchWiz UX is as impressive as ever, stable, and extremely smooth.

I'm torn between the two but trying to stay on touchwiz for now. I still have moments when I wonder. Perfect? Not by a long shot. Better than blur on the old DX? Most definitely.

Hoping for continued touchwiz custom rom development and improvement. Running cleanrom 2.5 currently.
