    In effect, yes. In exact, no. But the net result is a solid 10-4, good buddy. We here l33ching from VZW's cell towers are locked down.

    No correlation between the two, except for the fact that the locked bootloader makes hacking harder and increases the likelihood of a serious problem.

    In fact, locked bootloaders increase the possibility of bricking your phone.

    Hmm interesting to know, if I remember right when I joined the dx2forum they said by the bootloader being locked that made it unbrickable... I'm probably wrong tho, ima noob to the phone stuff
