Angry Birds Star Wars Coming November 8th

Just as we teased last week, Rovio just announced their newest version of the hit Angry Birds series, and it is a Star Wars team-up. It's called, simply enough, Angry Birds: Star Wars. The game will become available on November 8th for Android and iOS. There will also be some cross-over tie-in plush toys available at Toys-R-Us. In the game you basically play as the red bird, who fills in the role of Luke Skywalker. The game will also feature the sound effects and musical score from the movies.

If you have played the Angry Birds games ad infinitum like many of us, then this will only be mildly interesting news. Of course, if you haven't played it and/or are a big Star Wars fan then this could be a lot of fun.

To each there own i guess. I dont play it as much as i used to, but it's still a great time waster. I think this version should be a cool spin on such a classic mobile game.
