Jelly Bean Update Leaks for the Sprint Version of the Samsung Galaxy S III

Sprint owners of the Samsung Galaxy S III will be pleased to know that a leaked version of Jelly Bean (L710SPRBLIF) is now available online for the phone. Even if you don't intend to try out this leaked ROM, the fact that it leaked and works well shows that the official one can't be too far off. Of course, several international versions of the phone already have their official Jelly Bean update, so it isn't surprising really.

If you don't mind trying out leaked ROMs check out the XDA thread below for more details, but as always be careful and follow the instructions carefully, because there is the possibility of bricking your phone.

As of last night they were having issues with MMS... This may have been fixed by now but I am still stoked waiting on the JB for VZW.... I want to see if it is in deed any faster and see if I am going to like Google Now....

There are a few Custom JB roms out there available IF you are rooted....

[spodoc]

1) root phone & unlock bootloader (10min)
2) download jellybean rom (5 min)
3) reboot and flash jellybean rom (5-10 min)
4) watch phone auto download all my apps (20 min over WiFi)
5) watch my phone effortlessly sail through screens and menus as I flick my finger (still in awe doing this)
6) smugly post on s3 forums that I'm on jellybean while others say they are waiting (30 sec)

Folks here will help you with any/all these steps should you decide to proceed.

What ROM did you decide to go with.... I have been reading on all of them but they each have issues that concern me.... I need something that is just as flawless as the Stock Rooted ROM.....
