Amazon Appstore Update - New UI and International Users Now Welcome

There were some major changes today to the Amazon Appstore App. Starting this morning, Amazon has enabled international users to take part in the Appstore for Android. They have also given the entire app a new user interface.

Another key addition in the update is ability to finally remove apps from the “My Apps” list by long pressing them.

Nice find, just before I was going to post. But a day late.
First free app was angry birds ad free and today is plants vs zombies.

Been waiting so long for amazon to come over here with its app store.

Wow I don't have plants vs zombies as the free app! But I did get it when they offered it a year ago! Hehe

Seems to be a difference in FAOTD between the US and UK. Ours today is a game called Nintaii.

Is the new interface and ability to remove apps from the list restricted to the international version? I haven't gotten an Amazon App Store update in a while on any of my devices, and certainly nothing has changed. Force check says no updates available. WANT the ability to clean up my apps list!

EDIT: Never mind. Went to Install AmazonŽ Appstore and redownloaded from there - got the new interface. Don't know why the existing version wouldn't update...
