Well I find myself in a bit of a predicament, and I am not sure how to get out of it. I was having some issues in recovery, so I decided to odin back to stock. Hooked up to ODIN and flashed 4.1.1. Flash was successful, and phone rebooted as it was supposed to.
I wanted to flash a custom recovery through odin because I wanted to avoid getting a 4.3 update, and this is where things went wrong. I downloaded Philztouch recovery, as the TWRP file did not look right (.tar file but no MD5) I verified that the philztouch recovery was the correct one for my device. It was a .tar.md5 file. I flashed it through odin and the flash failed. I disconnected and went to reboot, and I got a message that the firmware upgrade encountered a problem, and I need to connect to Kies. I rebooted in download mode, and attempted to odin the stock file again. This is where it gets wierd. The file begins to install, and then while it begins to write the system image the install aborts and odin says it failed. The phone is able to reboot into download mode, and I attempted to flash back to stock again, with the same result. Does anyone have any idea how to proceed?
Phone is SGHI747, D2ATT. The stock file is prerooted UCDLK3 (4.1.1).
