    Have you tried one of the many other free keyboards from the PlayStore?
    I'm a fan of SwiftKey and Hackers.
    At least that would eliminate a hardware issue.
    If you call/visit your provider, they'll doubtless have you do a factory reset....

    It was way too sensitive for me too. Now I use SwiftKey Flow mode. It works much better for me and my big thumb.

    On a more serious note, I stopped using the default keyboards back when I had my Atrix 4G. I find Thumb Keyboard suits my needs as I can adjust just about everything about the keyboard from haptic feedback strength to letter size and layout.

    From what I understand, it was a fairly painless outpatient surgery procedure....he's good to go now! :thumbup:

    Painless indeed. The brain surgery required to use opposable thumbs however was rather painful.
