Dim LED indicator SGS 3

Since running a software update on the phone today via wifi i have noticed the brightness of the LED indicator has dropped a lot and is quite dim. Im not using lite flow up just the standard LED setting. The blink rate has also reduced since the update. Has anyone else had the same issue? If so how can I fix? Thanks.

What software update was it?? What phone and carrier?

Update was to 4.1.1 I believe. My notifications menu is better and some other minor changes. The update was done through the About Phone section and then software update. T Mobile UK is the carrier. 100% the led indicator flashes less and is dimmer than before.

Do you have power save checked? Just a guest but it may be the cause

Sorry the network is o2 uk. None of the power save options are selected. Samsung claimed not to know of the fault and have suggested I do a factory reset.

Hi, the above issue was with my phone which I had for four weeks, luckily O2 agreed to sending me a new one (arrived yesterday) I updated to 4.1.1 and now the phone LED is very dim, espcially when its charging whilst on, the red is not as bright as it should be. Is this a S3 fault or 4.1.1? Thanks.

It's an 4.1.1 issue.
I'm experiencing exactly the same after the Jelly Bean Update. The LED is now dimmed via the built in light sensor!

Facing the same problem. Last night updated my s3 to jelly bean. leds are dimmer and blinks slower.
