    Leaving messages on Server

    How do I configure a Charter email account to leave messages on the server so that they also can be retrieved on a laptop?

    Welcome to the Forum. Most e-mail clients have a setting to either delete or keep your mail on the server. check the settings

    I have been through all the settings and that option does not exist. I tried turning off the Synch option for that account and will see if that works.

    The setting he was referring to would be on the charter email site once you logged in... There should be an option to leave messages on the server... or if you just mark them as read on your phone they will still be available on the account to read and you won't keep getting notified of new emails....
