Global Search

I just received a replacement Verizon Galaxy S3 because my original one would fail to start intermittently. It has the newest build IMM76D.i535VRALG7. I assume it has the limited search fix. I have it rooted, CWM Recovery and unlocked the bootloader but still stock. Is there anyway to recover global search other than flashing earlier firmware via Odin. I plan to use a custom rom eventually, but I want to make sure the hardware is good before taking it further. Thanks for any help.
