Plastic case blocking signal

Hey there,

Just purchased a plastic case for my S3 yesterday. Having the problem that its blocking my phones signal. Cant make calls or receive calls.

Is there anything I can do to fix this or will I need to cut my losses and purchase a different case??

Really? Sorry to hear that! Wouldn't think a plastic case would do that unless it was like lead lined or something haha. So you tried making calls without it (assuring it works) then put the case on without moving or rebooting and calling same number to see if it works or not? How did you come to think the case is the problem?

Signal is perfect without the case. As soon as the case is put onto the phone the signal instantly drops and disappears completely. Have tried calling a number with case on and doesn't work and with the case off it works. Partner tried sitting his s2 in the case and same thing happened.

It's a plastic case with gold colour around the edges and white plastic on the back.

I have a plastic case as well. As you can see it does not wrap around the phone and block the signal. Does your case wrap the top left corner?

That's so weird. Maybe the gold is blocking the signal. I have several plastic cases that dont disrupt the signal at all. Return it!

I have a plastic case aswell for my phone and yet it ain't interrupting signal. Tho', you could try making a little cut on your case nearby the signal reciver area. If you do it right, than noone is ever gonna notice :P.

I had that problem with a case that had a thin aluminum outer and rubber inner, don't have any problem with all plastic cases.
