    Phone Restarting AND Internet Issue?

Just got a new S3 since my first one was defective and ran across two problems last night:

    1) When performing a google search in the internet, the browser would freeze up for about 10-15 seconds upon showing the results. I can't click on any links and can't change applications.
    2) 2 or 3 times in the night, the phone would freeze up, and then automatically just reboot!

Any ideas on this issue? Phone problem? SIM card problem?

I already received one defective S3....please tell me I didn't get another.......

Re: Phone Restarting AND Internet Issue?

Welcome to the forum cuse! There have been some reports of bad sim cards. My wife needed hers replaced when she first got her S3. You may try a factory reset, if that doesn't help, take it back and have them switch out the sim for you.
Good luck & let us know how it goes.

Called T-Mobile and they said it's not a sim card issue....tried a phone reset, but that didn't work. They're sending me yet another phone....third times a charm? If anyone has any other ideas, I'm all ears!

For issue 1, what browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser? Not sure the answers would help someone figure out your problem but couldn't hurt.

I used to get a random reboot on my OG Droid every once in a while but haven't noticed any with this phone. Sorry I can't offer any help.

A little late, but I had the same issue. I had to send it into Samsung and it turned out to be a problem with the wifi. They wound up replacing the whole motherboard. **** got real annoying when I would try to do anything and get a random reboot.
