About LinkBacksI'm not sure. I do know that the Google Music app does allow you to "pin" music to save it locally to play without a data connection. I'm not sure what format it saves them as and where they are stored. I looked but couldn't find them... but my phone isn't rooted. Perhaps you need root to get at them.
