SD card advice please

Hi all, so i have a replacement Galaxy 3 coming tomorrow because my one was broken, i have also ordered a 32 gb this one Samsung 32GB Class 10 Micro SDHC Extreme Speed Memory Card with Frustration Free Packaging: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories my question is how does it work, will i need to save my songs to the sd card and if so how will it save as albums/playlists or will the phone just start to use the sd card when the phones internal memory is full, sorry for such a noob question.

I keep all of my media (music, videos, etc.) on my external sd. The phone will automatically scan it and add the media to the proper gallery folders, regardless of where they are. I try to keep everything on my external to keep as much space as possible for apps on the internal. You can also set your camera to store to the external sd as well.
