Duplicated outlook calendar events

Hi,

I'm trying to sync my S3 calendar with the MS Outlook Calendar that I use at work, but it is creating a lot of duplicate events on my phone (the same event many times - i.e 30 times!).

If I use the Kies to send the calendar to the phone, it works fine, but if I try to sync by any other way, it does not work properly and duplicates some of the events (obs: it does not duplicate all). On a daily basis I'm going to sync by using the 3g technology, so using the Kies it is not a good solution for me.

Could you please help me? Does anyone face this problem before?

I have the exact same problem. I am not using Kies, just syncing directly to the exchange server. The duplicates seem to multiply when I have borderline wireless access and connection errors pop up.

Hi...I'm going through the same thing and thought it was my computer messing my phone up...but I believe its the software on the phone. Is there an ongoing process to resolve the glitch?

Same problem here, been searching quite some time now, still no solution found. Trying to sync my s3 with outlook exchange account and the calendar items are showing up 1 2 3 4 5 etc times on the phone, but exist only once on the server. It's my first android phone and first time that something so basic is not working. Pleas advise ...

I'm experiencing the same thing. I spoke to Samsung Canada and they said they were aware of the issue and are working on a solution. The rep, however, wasn't able to provide a time-frame though...

I am having this same issue, I think I might have a solution (short term)-maybe.? I have 3 e-mail accounts, two exchange, one 2007, the other 2010 and the last one is a hotmail/live account. I had set up all three as coporate accounts in the SIII, and was getting the multiple events bug. What I did several days ago and have not had the multiple events issue is to set up the hotmail/live account as a pop account. I don't use the calender or contacts for this account so it might be an easy fix for me. I was also told by a sprint rep at the nascar race last week that they know about the bug and a fix will come "soon." He also said that Jelly Bean was "soon" too LOL.

I've only had my S3 since mid-August and just a month ago starting trying to sync with my work outlook calendar. I too get random events with more than one entry (up to 30 sometimes). Very aggrevating. Hope a fix comes through shortly.
