Gotta admit, it's still better than that suction headband they keep trying to sell on TV.
So, consensus is that Samsung couldn't match something the CyanogenMod team has been doing for, what, two years now?

What error do you get from your phone when you try to use voice commands to call out?

I also have this echo problem, something that was not an issue with my Motorola Photon. Also, if I'm listening to music through the headphone jack, when a call comes in the music is supposed to pause and then resume when the call ends. Not happening right. Even though the music appears to be playing, it's not. If I test this without using the headphone jack, it works fine. But the echo is very annoying.
Is there a decnet stereo Bluetooth out there?
Yeah the echo is crazy annoying. Another problem I have related to 3.5mm jack is when the car charger is plugged in at the same time ... when I'm on AUX it makes a squealing noise over my car speakers. Makes me wanna go back to my DROID X!!!!!!!!!
Tried to give it a little time. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Has anyone seen on the net or anywhere to suggest that samsung knows or even cares lol?
I spoke with Samsung about this today via chat. the rep had no knowledge of this issue but suggested i do a soft reset (remove the battery)[I am not very hopeful]. he told me to contact the voice support team(which i have not done yet). I am starting to miss my X. :-(
A soft reset won't fix it. I've tried. The Samsung rep I chatted with was clueless, too. Suggested I send the phone back to Samsung for repair. Blergh.
I'll be curious to know whether you learn anything helpful from the voice support team.
i might just buy a bluetooth device that plugs into the AUX of my car. I found some on the web.
