You can change the default directory of Titanium inside of Titanium's settings.

Launch Titanium and press the Menu key.
Select Preferences.
Scroll down and select Backup Folder Location.
Select the Detect! box.

Select /mnt/extsdcard/TitaniumBackup.
Select Use the Current Folder.

Could it be possible i flashed the incorrect verizon stock firmware?
in order of events, it went like this:
1. was on first available root (rooted.system.img.tar)
2. decided to go back to 100% stock by flashing the verizon stock firmware (the HOME_I535VRALF2_I535VZWALF2_618049_REV09_user_low_ ship.tar DebianDog gave me)
3. got to 100% stock, lost all 4g and 3g
4. tried *228 and waited 15 minutes, still no data
5. factory reset, still no data
6. decided to flash to the newest root
7. on the newest root, still no 4g or 3g
8. decided to try a custom rom to see if it'd fix it and still no data
Looking back at DebianDog's post, i saw his 3rd link about a kernel download, did i need to use that somehow?

No, because the stock kernel is the same as the stock root kernel. You could try to reflash the file, is all I can suggest.
tap'n
Anybody else having issues extracting the .tar from the .7z for the original post?
When I use 7-zip and say "extract here," I get an error that says "Can not open file "...stock.vzw_root66.7z" as archive.
Tried googling and searching through forums, can't really find anything. Suggestions?
