    Binary Count: 3 HELP!

    I recently rooted my SGH-I747M

Its fine, no issues but it says this in downloading mode:

Custom Binary Downloads: Yes (3 Counts)

    --

I'm not sure if this is a problem or not.

Id like to stay rooted I just want to know what this is about and how to fix it if it is a problem.

    Please Help!

    Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum. This is not an issue unless you need Warranty Service. The S3 keeps track of how many times you flashed a custom ROM. If you go back to stock, you will need Triangle Away. It resets your count to 0

Where can I get Triangle Away?

Will it get rid of my root?

If you want to unroot, go to Galaxyroots.com and follow the directions for your phone model. They have all the downloads there including Triangle Away Free Edition. If you just wnt to reset your counter you can get Triangle Away at the Play Store but is not free. If you want the free edition, go to XDA and do a Triangle Away serch as it it free on XDA

I got triangle away, however I see that there is a risk of bricking my phone.

I have the i747m version, will this brick it? If so is there any other way to reduce the counter to 0?

Also if I manually install ClockworkMod Recovery will it erase all my data?

Flashing CWM should not effect your data. As for the briking warning, it's the same warning all DEV's post on any app that requires root access.

    i747m is Roger S3?
I dont see the listing. I would like to try.

No one can commit to guarantee say you will not brick your device. So far no report that user bricking the devices when using Triangle away.

Rules of the thumb...rooting, modding and flashing is always at your own risk.
