Ok, I'm rooted unlocked and flashed clockworkmod. I am currently making a back up of my stock rom and then I'm going to flash Synergy. Let's hope this goes well!

Well I can't get my phone into mass storage mode.. I type in adb shell mountsd and it says that command is unrecognized..

Do you mean mounted to PC? If so UMS isn't supported on the GS3 normally, it uses MTP protocol.

Do you have a normal PC or MAC? PC should mount via MTP (not in recovery mode! just normal and booted - if you are in recovery you have to push via ADB) I've heard of lots of issues mounting with MAC/Linux since they don't work with MTP properly - I know when I'm booted into my Ubuntu/Arch Linux partitions I can't mount. Airdroid works great though or ADB push if you know what you're doing there.

EDIT: You can also force it to enable UMS mode but its a bit of a hack and some work.

I have a normal pc and I'm not in recovery. I just plug my phone into my computer and try to drag the zip onto my sd like I would with my X. However it will not let me add anything to my sd card.

I successfully flashed Synergy and I'm loving it. Thanks to everyone who helped.
