There is a thread on XDA on how to get this going... and I did but... it is kind of ugly. I guess it takes a while to get working right as it pulls in all your Google info and your searches.

You basically:


  • Download an APK
  • Rename the old Google Quick Search box to a .BAK and rename the downloaded file to GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk (First image)
  • Then download the new Google voice app and hit enter


If you flash it you wont have a backup so I never suggest that
