^^^ this. They more or less have a monopoly across MT. There is other providers, I hope you like having only 50 percent connection that VZW does though, and for large swaths of the state they are the ONLY provider.

Yep the only up side is the fun I have with people NOT on VZW when they come to my house. I say "Hey are you on Verizon? No. Let me know if you need to use my phone" Sprint and AT&T are lucky to get a text here.

Sadly, this is pretty much the case here in metro Orlando, believe it or not. All my other friends and family on other networks experience dropped calls and poor reception. Anyone who has an iphone on at&t seems like their calls only come through clear half the time. That's why I'll never switch to another carrier.

I just checked US Cellular's website for coverage, and pretty much all of the SE US is colored 'partner coverage- strength varies'...

Clicking on find retail locations says there is no retail stores anywhere in the area, so most likely, they are using VZW's towers here in FL, which I don't know how well that translates to call/data quality. And I'm not sure how their plans would work here, if at all. As of now, it looks like I'll keep bending over and hope that I have plenty of lube...

Well they are CDMA so they must be working off of VZW or Sprint.

I'm really surprised that in the central/northern VA area AT&T was strong. Verizon has deep ties out here in Virginia. VZW's propaganda had me believing they were far and away the best coverage until just a couple of weeks ago.

So get this... I drive about 1 hour each way to work. I stream iHeartRadio on the way every day. With VZW I would go to 3G quick, and lose data every so often. Today, to and from work on AT&T, I had 4G and no drops the whole way. Holy moly... I still can't believe that... I guess I just lucked out, fellas lol
