    doesn't look good may. Are you out doors? Also for anyone in the city or near large buildings you will always have poor GPS performance. The tall buildings block direct view of sats. You also get a phenomenon known as multi path. That is where a GPS signal bounces off the wall or ground before reaching you. Cities and forest canopies are tough.

    I consider this pretty dang good for a consumer-grade GPS. I work with a lot of GPS equipment and am very impressed with the s3.

    I do live in a big town but theres no tall buildings here. Just a suburb. I'm inside the house. But there are lots of trees. Could that be it?

    walk outside and try to get the lcearest view of the sky. Hold your phone flat and out in front of you ( don't lean over it). Stay in the same place for about 5 minutes. Use the app GPS status. Send us your screenshot.

    And you may want to scrub out the latitude and longitude from the screen shot if you don't want people knowing where you are standing.
