Yah, that was just a rumour.
Turns out it will just be the same......which, I think, is good news.
I don't mind the rounded edges myself....I have the SGS I and it has rounded edges.

I think Sammy figured they should all look similar for brand awareness. I was expecting mine to say SIII on the back, but it doesn't.

Yah, I think Sammy had to convince all of the American providers to use the same phone design as well.
Not like in the past. So, having made everyone else keep the same casing and such, would have been pretty bad for them to change their own after the fact I think.

I think it's great that all the various versions will look the same. It was a flippin' nightmare to have so many variants of the S1 and S2, from both an accessory & support perspective. This will be the first American Galaxy S phone with a physical home button. As much as I like the sleek, buttonless look of my GNex, I think this will be a nice change.

Edit: Ok. GSM 3G appears to be WCDMA which is a standard GSM network.

Yah I found the 3G ones, but just assumed you mean 4G/LTE.
