Thoughts on the S3?

I didn't see a thread, so I thought this would be a great topic.

To those with the S3, how do yo like it thus far? Good or not so good.
Hopefully after the phone is released in the states, we can get more comments here.

I have a question that I have not seen mentioned. How strong is the vibrate function? I have a friend with a Skyrocket and the vibrate is very difficult to feel, even with it at max. adjustment.

Hi

Good: 97% and specifically the vibrate is fine. You can customize it to exactly how you want it!!

It truly is the best phone I've had. Looks wise. App wise. Screen wise.

Only three areas for improvement in my view;

Driving Mode needs explanation / to work consistently (this of course could be me :banghead: )

Battery life in my view has not been brilliant. If you want it to last the day then you have to use power save mode.

Screen auto brightness is very agresssive - hopefully a firmware fix in future.

That's great to hear, thanks for the input.
I'm looking forward to hearing what call quality is like here in the states, but then again, hopefully I will be able to have one when the do arrive. I was a little worried after reading some neg. views on a different site. So, this is good news.
I'd say for me call quality / reception, being able to hear and be heard while using it a a .... Phone... , and vibrate functions. I find I also use my phone a lot for pictures. So a decent camera would be welcomed too.

Call quality here is fine. Can't comment on US but microphone and speaker are great. Not tinny.

Camera is excellent. Front and back great. Video great.

Got My S3 last night. I just cant get my eyes off it!
BUT my phone got rebooted on its self today morning. Also had to force close YouTube last night.
This shouldn't have happened so early, isn't it ?

I'm not sure about the S3, but when I get a new phone that is quirky from get go, I will do a factory reset. Hopefully some of the other experienced S3 folks will chime in soon.

The first thing that I do with a new phone is a factory reset.

My YouTube doesn't get used much, but haven't had a problem with it

I absolutely love my S3. A vast improvement over the S2 and i had a special relationship with that too lol. I was personally pleased with the increase in screen size, i also have a Dell Streak 5inch and loved the larger screen. Small screen was my main gripe with the S2.

First thing I did with my phone was scream and stroke it. Slightly different to a factory reset i fear but definitely still required.

had my white s3 for just over a week...it is fantastic,owned the s2 before this(traded in to carphone warehouse for £204 cash,great deal)and i thought the s2 was the best phone i have ever used..also owned the s..

if you play the pre loaded video (wonders of nature)to a iphone or any other phone user and watch there face drop with amazement from the quality of the screen,then shrink it and move it around the screen while you txt...wonderful phone no problems here...

I never knew this --} SIII doesnt get charged by any other samsung charger or any compatible charger. "Connect your charger" sign goes away but the battery level is on a drop!
