My Saddle Sores With S3

Hi Guys , just joined....

Ok , Ive got a few small saddle sores with the S3. If I could get them resolved I'd be a happy boy...

1. On the make a call screen , the dial pad makes the "notifications" sound when I press the number rather than a keypad tone of a normal phone. I've looked all over the settings but can't seem to find this anywhere. If the phone is locked and you choose the "emergency call" option the keypad appears and when you press the number you get the tones.

Is this something we can change ?

2. On the make a call screen logs , it shows all phone logs (calls/sms etc) - and if you choose settings you can get it to show only should calls (this is what I want) , but when you exit and reenter it resets the logs. I don't want to see history of sms numbers in here , thats what the messages area is for.

Any idea on how to save the "logs" to show only calls.

Hello Fergieman and welcome to the forum!
# 1: Are you referring to the bubble / water drop sound? If so, that is unchangable unless you root your phone I believe
#2: After you cange which view you desire, instead of using the back button to exit, hit the home button. This was the only way I could save the call history to something besides the default view. Maybe again through rooting this may be more customizable.
Also, possibly a third party dialer would do the trick for you too, no root needed for that.

Hopefully some of the other members will chime in with some ideas for you.
