Problem with syncing S3 Calendar to Google calendar?

Is there a problem with syncing the S3 Calendar to your Google calendar? I was looking at a S3 in a shop and it states that Kies can't sync with G calendar! Also, to be few threads on XDA re this. But can't see a solution..

I use my calendar alot and have it synced with Mrs David...

Help?

Can anyone tell me that you can easily sync with Google calendar?

Or is it troublesome?

I have no trouble syncing with Google Calendar, on all three of my Google accounts. Which carrier are you on?

I run on the O2 network in the UK. Was reading yesterday about these issues, and where the G calendar wasn't syncing properly, and due to the S calendar and Kies. That had really put me off the S3...

I use the syncing alot, so would want my phone to sync easily with google...
