    DLNA problem, it used to work

    Hoping someone can help me...I upgraded the software from 4.0.1 to 4.0.4
    And now, i cannot use DLNA anymoe! In fact, everything under settings > More settings > Nearby devices > and the file sharing option and everything on this screen is greyed out!!
    It used to be cool before the upgrade and now i am stuck. I have tried factory reset. Can anyone help?

    I've just been using this to connect my phone to ps3 and was working great. Now for some reason, it won't work and everything is greyed out.

    Glad it isn't just me. I have tried every combination of settings I can think of, thinking maybe I blocked that option somehow.
    I also used to connect to my PS3 but i don't think the PS3 is the problem. Options are stille greyed out.
    Have you had any luck getting it sorted out?

    Kinda strange it's greyed out.. I am running Stock Sammy JB on my rooted S3 and it's not greyed out. Perhaps you should root.

    It happens to me too, but I found the "solution". Just wait about 20-25 seconds at the sharing page, and the greyed out options will become available magically. It seems that the device scans for something before activating the options.

    However I have since upgraded to Jellybean and this seems to have resolved the problem.
