Don't think there is anything wrong with your phone.

Re: Anybody notice the touch screen is a bit sensitive?

Is it the screen itself or the capacitive buttons? The capacitive buttons are supposed to be sensitive. I thought I saw somewhere in the settings you can adjust the touchscreen sensitivity, but not sure if that adjusts the back and menu buttons too. You could always take it in to your local Verizon store and check out the one they have on display and see how it compares.
Good luck & let us know how you make out.

Re: Anybody notice the touch screen is a bit sensitive?

Thank you for your fast response to both of you!

This issue, sort of speak, doesn't happen all the time. I notice it more when my palm is cuffing the bottom most portion of the phone.
Or when my finger is hovering the caption buttons.

Sorry If I am describing the issue the wrong way. Maybe some others can describe the issue a lot better.

I have the same issue but don't think much can be done...Just need to live with it.
I removed the capacitive buttons to gain screen real estate but the the ones below can't be adjusted as far as I know.

I read about this before, but im a little confused on how you "gain" real estate by removing the capacitive buttons when the screen doesn't actually go that low.

I used an app called Picsay. You can take pictures from your gallery, edit them with text, symbols, etc. and resave them.

Angry buttons are so freakin sensitive

i just don't get why samsung engineers made those touch sensitive back and menu buttons so damn sensitive. its like they never fully tested this phone. very very very annoying and makes it unusable for some non-g3 users.

Mine work just fine. I rather have them sensitive than to have to screw with them to get them to work
