What is your favorite thing and your not fave thing about your S3

Favorite: Nexus-like dev support. wow there have been some good devs get the VZW model.

Dislike: noise cancelling. Absolutely horrible no matter whether on stock or rom Put a caller on speaker and they cant' stand the echo. Would be a near deal-breaker for me if I didn't already have the phone. My moto dx had the same number of noise cancelling microphoens and never had an issue. I hope the issue is user error or some sort of software fix. I'd hate to think that I can't use speaker for the next few years. ":sigh:

No echo on our 2 S3s. have you tried a different case, or does this happen with the case off as well?

AOSP had a known issue where all the mics weren't working causing voice echo, it wasn't caused by that was it?

When I first got my phone and would put folks on speaker they would complain about echo. Given the number of folks here I see complain about it and based on my stock experience I'd say there is something up with the noise cancellation.

I wasn't aware akop or any AOSP roms made it worse. They may. I'm not sure.

Its supposedly squashed on AOSP but it existed for a few weeks. I don't actually talk much on my phone :P so I didn't care much. It should be resolved though as far as that particular bug.

only 2 complaints i have are the lag it has from time to time and the signal strength. Supposedly supposed to fix this in the jellybean update but you won't see me turning blue from holding my breath. I love this phone so much i bought my wife one off craigslist so she could enjoy the benefits of having an awesome piece of technology like this too! Favorites are, camera, screen size, speed(when its not lagging), and weight.

JB should definitely help with any lag, but don't know if it'll make any difference on signal strength - maybe some software tweaks for the radio, but that's about it.

After having this phone since the beginning of Aug. I looked at my first post in this thread and have to say, the only thing I dislike about this phone is the signal strength. (I loaded Apex launcher to solve the rotating home screen issue)

I love everything from this phone EXCEPT one thing...... I was in 3 department stores today and not one of them had any cases or accessories for the s3 most had s2 stuff.... And they ALL had almost a whole aisle set up for iphone crap.... I know it's not the phone but we need to get it out to Samsung to start and market the accessories and push these huge stores to carry stuff for us. I REFUSE to pay the huge inflated prices I am the vzw store and would order online but with cases I like to see just how my phones looks and feels before I pull the trigger.

Favorites: size, thinness and camera. Speed is awesome.

Cons: power button on the side. I'm always turning the screen off and I'm always turning the volume down. Didn't have that problem on my droid x and it was in the same spot.
Also, the fact that sms, and app notifications don't play through my earbuds. Makes the use of some apps useless. I don't understand it and think it's stupid.
