Why not use this one click bootloader unlock app!!!! I just used it and it worked great for me!!

for one, i have to send my phone back in for what seems like "only me (meaning im the only person in the world with this issue...) bluetooth issues and screen wakes" so i dont really want it unlocked when i send it back.
but i still want to try this out if i know i can get it locked back up and stock by monday!!!!! lol!

Welcome to the forum! Since this just came out, not sure if many here have tried this yet. You may want to swing over to Rootzwiki and ask them real quick. I recall a similar question being posed over there and the dev said, "don't worry, it's unlocked."
Let us know what you find out.

Thank-you! I will go over there and see what I can find out. I re-booted and the EZ Unlock said there was an update. I updated it then checked it again and it said I was unlocked. I have Titanium backing up most everything now. I wanted the 4EXT Recovery but went with Clockwork since I couldn't get the other. Everything runs or seems to be running great. Just wasn't sure about the unlocking. Thanks for the info!!!

I got an update for the ez unlocker and there is a re lock option now!

HI, I just tried this and it downloaded and I pushed the unlock button, it said it was unlocked. But how do I really know it is? i don't have another sim card to try. I did try to download 4EXT RECOVERY CONTROL my device was not compatible. It also said that I needed to be rooted, S-Off or unlocked bootloader.

I am rooted, don't know what the S-Off is. Have any suggestions for me? Thank-You

This is not a sim card unlock. It is a boot loader unlock that allows the flashing of modded kernels that were previously blocked from installation.

S-Off isn't a Samsung thing. I think that is for HTC or Motorola.

What's the official bootloader/ODIN file I've seen kicking around? And since we can reset the flash counter and triangle-away, I'm at a loss as to what we're missing.

HTC for the S-Off, but it applies to Samsung hardware as well, just not as much. The insecure bootloader is all we really need.
