Its anti shake. When I turned it on I got jitter. Best to turn it off
Went to the AT&T store today and confirmed the problem with anti shake on 2 more phones. I have a feeling that if most people played with this feature enough then they would also get it. But who knows. Hopefully a fix is in the works. It's a handy feature when recording on a small device.

I'm having the same problem.
With anti-shake on, the videos look like I've been drinking red bull all day.
With anti-shake turned off, the videos look much more stable.
But I think my S2 (drowned in a pool, RIP) may have had smoother video.
Do you think Samsung will have a software fix for this? I really don't want to exchange it and have to set up a new phone.
There is no reason to exchange your phone because of jittery video. It happens on all s3 phones when anti shake is turned on. Turn it off and move on. Nothing else to do, besides possibly holding the phone with two hands. Exchanging solves nothing.I'm having the same problem.
