Extending ringtone time

Hi all,

Samsung Galaxy S3
I am sure this question has been asked a thousand times but i can not find the answer.
I find the length of ringtone loop before going to voice message to to short. Is there anywhere in the settings I can either turn off the 'go to voicemail' or make it longer?

Welcome to the Forum. I believe that is a VM setting and not an S3 setting. Check your carriers VM setup.

Thanks Jeffrey. Now I need help in doing so . I am in the Uk on Vodafone if that is of any help.

Call Vodafone and ask them how to set then number of rings.

isnt it a standard period of time? It usually rings around 25-30 seconds and then goes to voicemail. Thats how it is in Canada at least...lol..

No you should be able to set it up via your voicemail to set the # of rings before the voicemail picks up. I think most default and 6 rings... I remember I used to have mine set to 12 (I think) because most people would hang up before leaving a message unless they knew me...
