    Restore home screens....

Is there any way to restore the way my home screens were set up when I flash a new ROM.... I have 7 screens all set up the way I like them and just flashed a new ROM... It is going to be a pain to get them the way I had them..... I did a backup but is there an actual way to restore just these settings....??

If using apex launcher, there is a backup feature. In sure other launchers have the same. You can restore backup of apex screens on any rom. None of the launchers will restore widgets though. You will be left with a blank space so just put widget back. Takes a few extra minutes.

If you use a launcher like Apex, you can do an Apex backup and restore your screens. I don't think you can extract only screens from a nandroid

Yikes! 7 screens?! Looks like you've got your work cut out for you Miller lol! That's why i only use 3 screens....i like to keep it minimalistic. Like spodoc & Jefferey said, use the backup within your launcher and it will restore everything as it was previously, minus the widgets, which is common with all launcher backups.
    Good luck!

I ended up going back to my backup since the new ROM wasn't cooperating fully and I wasn't in the mood to monkey with it..... Setting all the screens up isn't too bad I have 1 set up with all direct dial and message contacts, 1 with the "My Tracks" widget I use for bike riding which includes shortcuts to different routes I like to take.... Then another setup with the Winamp Widget and different folders setup up with different playlists and podcasts to listen too..... I try to keep it short and sweet also but like quick access to the things I use the most.... LOL Most of the screens could be combined but then they look cluttered and aren't organized by type

That's one of the reasons i like Apex so much. You can go into your app drawer and organize your apps accordingly. See the top of my screenshot. I have them organized by media, tools, root apps,.music & TV apps, etc. Works great without needing a half dozen homescreens.
But i know, personal preference is key here.

Is that your homescreen or the app draw? I can add labels to my app draw but how did you get the apps in the proper columns ?

    EDIT: Figured it out......

Doesn't restore them but take screenshots of each screen and it makes it a lot easier.
