Music skipping using the default media player

Hi Guys,

Have any of you encountered the problem where the music skips from time to time even without running other apps and is already in screen lock mode? Another problem is when I also try using the default headset as a controller of my music (double-click to go to the next music) but there's around 30 secs of delay. If I click on the play/pause button (the one at the bottom when the earphone is connected to your ears while the phone is placed lower), there will be 30 secs delay together with random skipping of music? I tried Poweramp as well aside from the default player and encountered the same problem so I uninstalled Poweramp. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Use my stock music player on a daily basis and have never encountered this. Hopefully someone can suggest a fix outside of a factory reset.

There are a few people reporting this issue and as far as I can tell it has something to do with the phone attempting or wanting to go into deep sleep mode.... I have been digging on this issue for a couple days..(I don't have it I use Winamp and don't have a lick of trouble... I like the widget better also.) I would like to find an issue for this as I have seen the same problem across many forums..

Thanks, I'll try Winamp. But does it have a double-press functionality like clicking the button on the headset twice and it will go to the next song?
