OK... sorry for any frustration I may have caused. Since May and CR6 were having trouble getting this to work I went back today to make sure I was giving you guys good info. Seems I wasn't. I I got it to connect with Kies via Wifi... but not Kies Air (I had hidden it from my app drawer because I didn't think I'd use it). Well anyway... I tried Kies Air and it showed my computer network and listed a URL to enter into a browser. Entered that URL into a Chrome browser on my PC and that worked. Again... sorry about my mistake. I really didn't realize there was a difference.
No problem!

Well what's the difference? Don't they both connect via wifi?

Yeah... Both use wifi. I like the UI of Kies Air better and it seems to be quicker. I didn't have much time to compare the two. If you like to I could post screen shots of both later tonight or in the morning.

Just noticed an update for Kies Air in the Play Store. Fixes some bugs and wifi on /off status not detected issues. Might be worth a try for those having trouble getting it to work before.

So nice to see stuff like this that's for something actually useful than the old days when we struggled just get those button lights shut off on our DX's. LOL!
I'll have to try Kies. There seem to be quite a few items of "media sharing" catagory pertaining to these phones now. Makes me wish I had networking skills so I could at least understand the differences between the stuff. AllShare, NFC, DLNA etc etc etc. That would be good sticky-thread potential. hmm Not for me.. I'd mess it up and get it all wrong for sure.
