Tapatalk not tappin right

I've been experiencing the exact same issues Goose. Very frustrating.
I went intoTiBU and restored a backup I had from when I first set up my S3, and it's been doing much better (knock on wood). I believe it's 2-3 updates prior.
We'll see.

.....My favorite thing tapa does is when you click on quote for someone and then it takes a random quote from some other random thread that has absolutely nothing to do with anything and then quotes that in to what you are typing. Its fairly rare, but always makes me LOL.

1st time this happened I thought it was something I had done. I wish I could say it's fairly rare. Happens so much I have to really pay attn to what actually is quoted.

Happens periodically on DXF. We call it the "JohnDroid bug" because it usually hits with a quote from him saying "Whaddup Playa?". Occasionally, it will quote other people randomly, but usually him. It nailed Maybish the other day.

LOL ya I see that at DXF. Makes me lmao everytime. Especially when its completely innapropriate. I think that's one of the best lines to get a random quote of, lol

This is all recent - like within the last 2 weeks. Before that I never had a problem;
Some Icons load, and others don't.
Opening attachments pictures causes a crash - with statement: "Tapatalk has to close" - (then option to send report or not)
In the last 2 days, some pictures open and sometimes it will close - I "assume" its the way the pictures are posted. Those imbedded seem to open and those that are linked through picture hosting sites crash the App.
It's been very slow to load some pages - yet others open instantly. I thought it would be based on pictures or size of posts and their content per page, but after some monitoring, I'm not so sure that's a proven fact.

It's getting so bad, I have started going direct to the site when I know I'll be on a forum for a while. :-(

U might try clearing the cache on the app, and if it persist u may try clearing the data also, and if that doesn't do it, try a un-install/re-install

Just noticed an update for Tapatalk in the Play Store. Change log mentions bug fixes so maybe some of the issues brought up here have been addressed.

One thing that helps with the lag is go to developer options and turn on "force gpu rendering". This helps it run smooth for me. Only downside is that you won't see images most of the time. They just don't load. It's a known issue
