About LinkBacksI was wondering if anyone knows (or is still alive to tell the tale) what will happen if I plug the S3 USB cable into an Iphone mains charger.
It would be good to know before I do it!

Just make sure the volts out put is what the s3 can handle. I would say yes. I charged my s3with my xperia charger. And have charged my xperia off an iPod charger.

This will work fine. Both chargers have a rated output of 5v and 1amp. You can also use an iPad charger. The maximum amp draw of a device is dependent on itself, not on the charger.

Yep I do it all the time I have heaps of left over iphone main charger bits that I plug my S3 into and it works fine.
Tap'n Like a boss on my S3I used to have a open mind but my brains kept falling out

The charger for my car and bicycle are both designed for the iPad. (2.1 amps ) They work great. The phone will only draw the amperage that it needs.
