i really want to try this case as i like the thin cases and i love everything about this design BUT how the top and bottom bezel are NOT covered..... dont know if it is because it is just not possible or what... also how thick are the thin cases? (in mm)

The case on myGalaxy Fascinate was like this and it protected it just fine. I had the same concerns, it didn't seem like it would protect well, but it did great.

It's not possible to make it covering the entire phone. You can cover the top and bottom or you can cover the sides. Since I can curve the sizes around it offers far more protection than it looks.

My original design was to have it all around the case and the factory told me it wasn't possible. When they make these out of my mold they wont come out unless we leave space.

Also if you do manage to have it all around the phone you won't be able to get it off without a hammer. I was reading one thread on Amazon of a case like this but much cheaper and people were saying they were trying screwdrivers to get it off. If they did get it off it messed up the phone and the case.

If you look around everyone makes them this way.

Actually there is ONE way to make this all around - and that's to make it two piece that separate in the middle. However that increases the thickness dramatically and the cost doubles to make it.

How thick is the phone with it on or the case? Or the thickness of the material? I can tell you it weighs .4 OZ and it protects the phone if you put it down on the face.

You will find that many cases like this will crack over time or crack on a fall. We use a special blend of polycarbonate that protects against cracks and breaks. You can actually bend the case when it's off. Having something that won't crack protects the phone more because it distributes the shock of the fall.

I showed this to another well know case maker and he couldn't believe it - he actually bent the sides to where they almost touched. Of course he ruined the case because while it may not crack it will warp. So don't try it! But if you want you can try to bend the corners and slightly bend it in any direction and it will be fine.

So far everyone has been delighted with it.
