That's what I have in my phone. Been working fine since day one. But I got it for $20! Sorry

As long as it's a branded class 10 card, 32GB cards of any stripe should work fine.
Kinda going overkill on it, not that there's anything wrong with that. Anything over class 4 isn't having its capabilities fully utilized -- but I'm going to stick my 16GB class 10 Transcend-branded card in my phone as soon as I get all the crap off my old phone... Yeah, I'm lazy. Sue me.![]()

Hey, did you know I'm an author? I am. Curious? Check out my author page on Amazon or my blog.
Picked it up for 34$ at bestbuy. Also twrp seems to read it right off the bat, no formatting or anything. Just moved almost 10gb in nandroids over, as well as a few other zips. Holy large nandroids batman on this phone. But man have they saved me a few times now.

Hello all,
Maybe (probably) I am too inept to find it but I have searched in vain for a topic re. maximum size SD card acceptable to the S3;
Some say that Samsung announce 32Go. Quite a few reply that they have a 64Go in theirs, and it works fine.
To which the "32Go only " crowd reply that, yes, a 64Go will work, but only recognize half the mem, i.e. 32Go.![]()
I am confused (well, more than usual...) Is there a super-dooper moderator to give me a definitive answer ? Thank you. Jean Louis
(also, on this forum, I have so far been unable to spot where to click, in order to follow a topic (i.e. receive an email when a new answer is posted)
I've read that it will take a 64 gig SD card. I've never seen mention though of it only being able to use half the memory of one. For me, I'm using a class 10 32 gig card. Between that and the 32 gigs of memory on my S3, I'm a long, long way from ever filling up both. Personally, I think it's a waste of money buying a 64 gig SD card, but that's just me.Hello all, Maybe (probably) I am too inept to find it but I have searched in vain for a topic re. maximum size SD card acceptable to the S3; Some say that Samsung announce 32Go. Thanks Upscale. You're probably right... it's just that I thought: buying for buying, might as well go the whole hog... I don't really appreciate how big is big... 32 is probably enough.
Can you tell me how to 1-upload my avatar (when I click on the 'basic' avatar, the page refreshes, and that's that) 2-how to register on a topic (like this one) to receive emails every time somebody posts and answer on this topic.
Cheers from France.
I had a hard time filling up my 16gig after two years, but i eventually did. I think 32 is the sweet spot, but if you take a ton of pics and download a lot of music, the 64 will really come in handy.
