I just ordered mine with free shipping, i probably should have ordered it along time ago LOL, i wont be putting it on a motorcycle however. ha-ha that made my day i think $39.95 is a good price for a dock and it works with my Otterbox Commuter case which is a plus.

To reply to my own post, it looks like the QCell 4200 will work with the iBolt Vehicle Dock, according to this post. Can anyone else confirm? Thanks!

So heres the thing, i work in a shop with a multitude of tools available to me, im currently trying to build/modify a car dock to work effectively both mechanically and aesthetically with the S3 Otterbox Defender. I will be trying to get ahold of an iBolt dock to modify and post pictures of my success (or failure) as well as using the belt holster from the defender itself to create a car dock. I have also looked at using a garmin Nuvi set to do this as well. if anyone has info that may help me on my ventures, or knows where i can acquire these items somewhat cheap (as i will likely need more than 1 of the iBolt) it would be a great help!

- Home screen turns horizontal when phone connects to Dock.

I just hooked mine up yesterday and the phone does not seem to detect that it is in the dock. The home screen does not rotate, and the car dock mode is not launching. I have tried with and without CarHome Ultra installed. I have also tried with the supplied USB cable as well as a separate car charging cable. The blue light on the dock is visible, so I know the dock is getting power. Has anybody else seen, or hopefully solved, this?

Yes, it's enabled and the apps seem to rotate as expected. However, the desktop (Home) screens aren't rotating either direction.

Bummer! Are you using the stock launcher? If so, you might give Apex or Nova a try and see if it works on one of those.
