Thought I would ask here, as was down to the shop, and they had no idea what to do.

My problem is this, bought my Galaxy S3, for about 14 days ago, and have loved it, getting used to android again, after playing around with an iPhone, but anyways,

Problem starts up now and again, when I am texting, I text fine for a while, getting and sending messages, then all of a sudden, it freezes up, and by this I mean, I recieve a message, but when trying to open the message, some other screen comes up, showing me I have no messages, but can see the message screen in the background.

This has happened a good few times now, when I restart the phone, its ok again, for about a day, then same happens.

Have totally rebooted the tlf from factory start, but same happens.

Anyone else had this problem???

The unit is half in a language I dont understand, so figured the best thing to do would be reload it with english firmware.

The problem I'm having is that when I hold down the vol down, home and power button, the phone boots into "Android Recovery 3e" instead of download mode. I have tried playing around with that to flash the firmware but havent had any luck, and cant find much on google about how its done. I found holding onto vol up, home and power takes me to a factory menu.

I've also tried connecting Odin and Kies, neither see the device as connected. I've gone into device manager and confirmed theres no driver issues.

I plugged my phone into my laptop, transfered a file from laptop to PC, unplugged my phone, everything worked fine. Plugged my phone back in my laptop (not 5 min later) and my laptop say it's not recognized, not do I get the the notification in my status bar on my phone that the phone is plugged in to my lap top. I've restarted my laptop (no luck), did a hard reset on my phone, no luck. Any idea what happened and how to fix it?
